Lars Amund Vaage (born 13 May 1952 at Sunde in Kvinnherad) is a Norwegian author and playwright.〔(Lars Amund Vaage Selected bibliography & translations )〕 Vaage debuted in 1979 with his novel ''Øvelse Kald vinter''. His work has been recognized by numerous awards and prestigious nominations, including nomination for the Nordic Council's Literature Prize for the novel ''Rubato'' in 1995. He was also nominated for the Brage Prize for ''Kunsten å gå'' in 2002.
